Mike has lived in Ann Arbor since college and taught at Ann Arbor Community High before retiring and devoting his time to Photography and Fly fishing. He enjoys the home waters of the Huron as well as spending time in Mio. Mike also serves as Chairman of the Ann Arbor TU Education Committee. |

Lou currently lives in Ida and spends much of his time in Ann Arbor or Grayling. After retiring from Jeep Engineering in 2006, he spends his time making Split Bamboo fly rods and chasing trout in Northern Michigan and Montana. Lou also manages the Ann Arbor TU Website and is the Michigan TU chapter representative. |

Robert recently retired to Ann Arbor and is pursuing interests in volunteer work, fly fishing, motorcycle touring, woodworking, golf and skiing. He and his wife split their time between Ann Arbor, Colorado and family home in Georgia.

Jeanne grew up in Ann Arbor, and works for the University of Michigan where she is an Accounting Supervisor in Financial Operations. When she's not balancing the books, Jeanne can be found in the woods hunting or fly fishing from Ann Arbor to Alaska. Jeanne's favorite get-a-way spot is her rustic cabin deep in the Northern Michigan woods near the AuSable River. |

"Big Fish" Gene lives in Ann Arbor and is very active in the local Real Estate market. In his free time, he travels North to maintain his reputation chasing big Browns in the moonlight and monster Salmon in the fall. Gene also serves as the Chairman of the Membership committee. |

Dan (aka. The Toledo Flash) resides just south of the border - in Sylvania, OH. In spite of that, he is often seen in Northern Michigan wading the rivers and participating in clean-up and restoration projects. A senior member of the Board, Dan also is an Instructor at the Trout Unlimited Fly Fishing School at Ranch Rudolf on the Boardman River. |

John currently lives in Ann Arbor, where he teaches courses in engineering management and organizational behavior for Drexel University's engineering graduate school. His flyfishing ranges from Traverse City carp to Michigan and Montana trout to Huron River smallmouth. In addition to his activities with AATU, John is a founding member and Secretary of the Huron River Fly Fishing Club. |

Starting in 1952, armed with degrees from UConn and Michigan State, Carlos has actually been paid to practice aquatic biology, fishery management, and development of water quality criteria on Tennessee reservoirs, Michigan waterways, and D.C. mazes. In 1975 he joined the Can.-U.S. Great Lakes Fishery Commission in Ann Arbor to manage sea lamprey and bring federal, state, provincial and tribal governments together in a Great Lakes strategic fishery management plan. His home river, the Rifle, flows near the family cabin, The Remedy, which has hosted scores of AATU work/play parties over the years. |
